Ingredients:

2 cups Wheat Germ

3 (2.5ounce) jars organic strained chicken baby food

1 tablespoon water

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). In a medium bowl, mix the wheat germ, baby food, and water together. Add more water if necessary to form a dough. Roll dough into 1 inch balls and place on cookie sheet. Flatten slightly with a fork dipped in water. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes in the preheated oven. Makes 2 dozen jems.

Begging Bones

Ingredients:

2 cups whole wheat flour

1 tablespoon aluminum free organic baking powder

1 cup natural peanut butter

1 cup vanilla flavored rice milk

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).

Stir together the flour and baking powder; set aside.In a medium bowl, mix together the peanut butter and milk. Stir in the flour mixture until well blended. Turn out dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead until smooth. Roll out to 1/4 inch thickness and cut into shapes using cookie cutters. Place 2 inches apart onto non-stick cookie sheets. Bake for 20 minutes in the preheated oven, or until lightly brown. Remove from cookie sheets to cool on wire racks.
